What is TRIP
TRIP (an acronym for Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) allows you to reduce the cost of your tuition, or the tuition of someone else, by purchasing gift cards. There are hundreds of brands to choose from, including supermarkets, gas stations, clothing stores, home improvement stores, travel, and so many more!
Each gift card is purchased dollar-for-dollar in the form of a physical gift card, electronic gift card, or reload of a previously purchased card through RaiseRight. Every brand will list a percentage of "rebate" that will be issued back to the schools. Our coordinator calculates the amount due to you and sends it to the CSGK Business Office to apply to your family account as a credit.Who Can Participate

Why Participate
- To reduce your family's cost to educate your child in our Catholic schools.
- There is no limit for how much you can earn towards tuition and fees.
- A fast and easy way to incorporate savings into what you are already doing every day.
- You are in control of how much or how little you use the program.
- You can also purchase electronic gift cards and send them through RaiseRight to others as gifts!
Costs to Join
- There is no cost to join the program.
- All in-person transactions paid with cash or check incur zero fees.
- All online transactions, marked as "will pay coordinator with cash or a check" will incur zero fees.
- All online transactions using a checking/savings account to purchase gift cards, will be charged a fee of $0.29 for each order you place. That means that if you buy one or one hundred gift cards in the order, your convenience fee will remain $0.29 for the order.
- If you choose to pay with a debit card, the fee is 1% of order total.
- For credit card purchases, the fee is 3% of the order total.
Credits Earned
Each brand chooses the percentage of rebate which can be earned.- Example #1: Meijer offers a 3% rebate for their cards. If you purchase a $100 gift card, you will pay $100 and RaiseRight will credit your account $3.00. (*See Frequently Asked Questions for information on the breakdown of family vs. school earnings.)
- Example #2: Land's End offers a higher percentage of 14% rebate. That same $100 gift card would now earn a rebate of $14.00.
All rebates earned are split (80/20) between the family and the schools.Gift Card Purchase Locations
In-Person
- In-person sales at Hackett Catholic Prep on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. (except when school is not in session for any reason).
- The Top 10 cards will be available for immediate purchase, plus a few others.
- Paper orders dropped off in the school's front office will be processed and returned to the office by the same day of the next week.
Online
Online Sales are available 24/7, 365 days a year, from anywhere in the country.
Options to order physical gift cards, egift cards, and reload existing RaiseRight cards.
Online Orders for physical cards placed by Monday at 9:00 am will be available on Wednesday of that week.
No pre-planning needed for many cards!
This means if you are in a store and decide to make some purchases, you can pull up the RaiseRight website/app, order a gift card in the amount you need, give it less than a minute to upload to your online wallet, proceed to the checkout, and pay with your new gift card! You just saved money on your tuition for items you were going to purchase anyway with minimal extra effort!Credit Timing
If you pay your tuition in full at the beginning of the academic year, your credits will accumulate during the year and will be used on the next year's tuition.
If you pay tuition throughout the year, your credits will be applied three times per year. -
Get Started Today with TRIP
Obtain the enrollment code by contacting the TRIP Coordinator, Amber Parker, ([email protected]), your school's front office staff, or using the QR code below.
Go to the RaiseRight website to set up your account. Once your account is verified through the coordinator, you will be able to purchase gift cards and start saving on tuition!
