The Kalamazoo Regional Catholic Schools Foundation (KRCSF) is a tax-exempt charitable organization dedicated to supporting the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo. Established in 1982, the Foundation manages 29 funds—primarily endowed funds—with combined assets exceeding $6 million. Each year, KRCSF provides approximately $250,000 in financial assistance to our schools.
KRCSF offers individuals, families, and organizations a way to invest in the future of Catholic education. By establishing a new endowed fund or contributing to an existing one, donors help ensure that our schools continue to thrive as institutions of faith and academic excellence. Endowment gifts can be designated to support scholarships, teacher salaries, capital improvements, new or existing programs, or general operating needs for the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo (CSGK).
Endowed funds are designed to preserve the donor’s original gift, allowing only the income generated by the fund to be distributed. This approach safeguards the principal and ensures a lasting source of financial support for our schools—today and for generations to come.
